The idea is born from the world of illusion, from the challenge of transforming a two-dimensional element into volumes that multiply infinitely; a light that recalls a race of waves and the transparency of the moment during which they diminish, dematerialize by sending back interminable drops of light. In all its multiform declensions, Charlotte seems to be modeled in a single block with a laborious weft, with impalpable features, like that of a beehive, through which one can penetrate by the concentric and hypnotic hexagonal shapes to have a perspective always renewed, whatever the point of view.
Charlotte Applique is created from a world of illusion, from the challenge of turning a two-dimensional element into infinitely multiplying shapes. The reflective surface hides the potent light source within this wall lamp, illuminating the concentric hexagons that define Fuksas' entire collection. Charlotte Appplique is fully handcrafted of Cristalflex®, and has a combined hanging system: a simple version (similar to a picture frame) for anyone who wants to avoid drilling holes in the wall, and anchors for additional security. The collection also includes a floor lamp and three other suspension sizes.
