Het ontwerp van Kalatos is duidelijk geïnspireerd op de weefkunst, een uitdrukking van het traditionele artistieke vakmanschap dat de mens heeft doorgegeven uit de prehistorie, toen hij manden tot leven bracht door het weven van plantenvezels. De collectie bestaat uit een ophangversie en een plafondlamp, die met behulp van Slamp technopolymeren opnieuw wordt bekeken vanuit een hightech oogpunt. Beide uitvoeringen zijn verkrijgbaar in twee afwerkingen: ondoorzichtig zwart met goudkleurig interieur en wit met transparante Lentiflex®-details.
